ABOUT ASHLEY
Ashley is an Atlanta based actor, singer, dancer and voiceover artist. She loves Jesus, her hunky husband, fitness, cooking, Motown and is 100% a foodie.
Her career started in regional Equity theatre, and her B.A. is in Theatre Arts, from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Her senior year of college, the head of the film department approached her after seeing her in the play, Dearly Departed, and suggested she do a year-long film intensive in the film department. The entire theatre faculty agreed. This led her to later on pursue film and television, in addition to professional theatre.
Goodson's New York City theatre credits include Marsha in Wanda's Visit and Ms. Mauve in The Tarantino Variation. Some of her favorite regional theatre credits include: the world premiere of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever The Musical, originating the role of Grace Bradley, Antonia in Man of La Mancha, Evonne in the Southeastern Premiere of Frost/Nixon, Charity in Anything Goes directed and choreographed by Broadway director Marcia Milgrom Dodge at The Maltz Jupiter Theatre, and Yvonne in The Ladies Man.

Most recently, Ashley played Ryan Clarke's girlfriend Trudy in Season 4 of Legacies on The CW directed by America Young. She worked with Tyler Perry and choreographer Debbie Allen on the Netflix feature A Jazzman's Blues, and was also directed by Tyler Perry in The Oval on BET. On Lifetime Movie Network, Ashley played Whitney Davis in the feature film, The Stranger She Brought Home directed by Dave Thomas.

She was spokesperson and comedic sideline reporter, Stacey Gleam, for Dayton Power & Light's award-winning television commercial campaign for 7 years.

You may have heard Ashley's voice on the radio or television for Lowe's Foods, Sunshine Beverages, Mission Health, Sheetz, Diamonds Direct, and more. She loves being in the voiceover booth and dreams of jumping into the world of animation.

Ashley is also a screenwriter and producer, and is in pre-production for her 1st feature film she co-wrote. Her love of 90's rom-coms and their soundtracks heavily influenced this project.

Ashley loves serving in her local church using the arts in ministry for community outreach events. Her faith is everything to her.
